P2S Training – Week 9 &10 – Niche and Product Ideas

successI have lumped these 2 weeks together in this progress report because we are now at a stage where we need to decide, firstly on a niche and secondly establish two or three product ideas within that niche, so the two weeks training tended to blend together.

JT encouraged us to think through this part very very carefully, because this is where the real hard work begins and we need to be passionate or at least very interested in the niche we choose and similarly the two or three information product ideas.

The two or three information product ideas is not because we will be creating that many products at our first attempt, but to have one or two contingency products on a back burner, which we can resort to if, for whatever reason, our subsequent research leads us away from the first choice.

For me the choice of niche was easy – Internet Marketing. However, JT did stress that the ongoing training will work just as well for any niche and I know some P2S members have other ideas.

I don’t want to give too much away concerning JT’s methods in the approach he asked us to take at arriving at our decisions.  Suffice it to say that his method is a very simple but detailed and methodical approach which helps the mind to focus on the objectives. It leaves no stone unturned.

So I have a niche and two information product ideas at the moment, although some subsequent research has probably ruled out the first idea and as I move forward with my research, I’m becoming more and more passionate about the second. I also have a third idea, but not researched in any depth yet.

We are urged to continue developing our blogs, with more posts and social media interaction in order to continue with the development of our online presence.

There is also a lot of interaction between P2S members on the private forum and Facebook group, which I have to say is very supportive and encouraging, not just between members, but also JT and his team.

    Hey Richard,

Well done, I think starting from week 8 of our training, things are really taking shape. Although I am yet to put the finishing touches on my own week 8 training, I too already have an idea on what my own product would be.

And like you said, the real work is starting to come in. That’s why I am also contemplating on better time management.

Thanks for your comment Romi, this training is really taking me to a new level, which is a little daunting, but at the same time exciting.

Hi Gordon, yes absolutely right, that’s why I chose it. The simplistic diagram shows that all the elements needed from choosing the right niche to creating a successful product must overlap in order to achieve success. This is why the additional research JT is imposing on us in week 11 is so important.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Hi Richard,

Yes, exciting times ahead! I am very happy today that I seemed to have caught up to the group in the form of training if not blog posts and comments on other peoples blogs(that’s the fix for this week).

I too have an idea for a few products which will be under the niche if IM (making money online). Keep up the great work.

    Hi Richard,

I too think its of massive importance to be passionate about the niche you choose. Also, its a great idea to come up with a couple of different ideas, I like that.

I am yet to reach that part of the P2S training, however I already started creating my product prior to investing in the P2S program. I will be launching very soon!

I wrote a post recently about creating your own products on my blog. It might give ideas to those struggling to think of product ideas.

Looking forward to following your journey to success!
